We definitely wish someone had taught us about compound interest when we were younger.  I think that having someone to mentor you and talk to you about finances when you are in your 20s is so important which is part of the reason why we started our site. We especially want our children to know that there are options out there! 
Also, in the present situation, it is true that those who have the ability can and will be able to take advantage of the down market.  Which is why it is so important for young people to get on top of their finances and to put themselves in the best financial position possible, as early as possible.]]></description>
